Ryan DeCook has been playing the drums professionally since 2001 when he first started touring and recording with a popular Midwestern Christian rock band. As a percussion major at the University of Northern Iowa, Ryan gained experience in a wide variety of styles including rock, pop, jazz, classical, drum corps, latin, afro-cuban, and more. Since graduating in 2005, he has played for numerous artists in the Twin Cities including Jana Anderson, Redpath, The Joe Beier Band, Christy Love & You Know Who, David Olson, Shalo Lee, Mish Mash, and most recently, Synergy. He currently serves as the Worship Director for Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN.
As the drummer for Synergy, Ryan helps ensure that every Synergy performance is a great experience through his versatility and his musical approach to the instrument.
